How to get to Ilheus
Located 300 km south of Salvador; Ilhéus is located at the intersection of the BR-415 (coming from Itabuna) and BA-001 roads, just 30 km from Itabuna and 75 km from Itacaré.
You come by plane
Daily direct flights from AZUL, GOL and LATAM companies arrive in Ilhéus (IOS), departing from Belo Horizonte (CNF), Salvador (SSA) and São Paulo (CGH and GRU). lhéus also has less frequent direct flights from Brasília, Campinas and Rio de Janeiro.

You come by bus
The buses that make the route to Ilhéus come from most capitals in Brazil and cities in the state.
The company Águia Branca has two direct buses a day from Salvador to Ilhéus. Leaving Salvador, it is also possible to take the ferry boat to Itaparica Island and take the bus to Ilhéus with Águia Branca.

You come with your car
From any point in the south, coming to Ilhéus, take the BR-101 to Itabuna, and then take the BR-415 towards Ilhéus (30 km).
For those coming from Salvador, there are two options: take the ferry to Bom Despacho (Itaparica) and take the BA-001 (300 km) or go directly from Salvador to Uruçuca on the BR-101 and continue to Ilhéus on the BA-262 (450 km).
