What is Ecosul Turismo?
Ecosul Turismo is a nautical ecotourism charter company in Ilhéus, Bahia, Brazil. We are specialize in whale and dolphin watching. Our charters are always led by biologist guides associated with the local University (UESC)(https://www.uesc.br/) and the Ilhéus Aquatic Mammal Research Group (GPMAI)(https://labgpmai.wixsite.com/gpmai), focusing on environmental action, education, science, and nature conservation.
In addition, we also offer snorkeling, ocean fishing, birdwatching safaris, and personalized nautical charters.
We are proud to allocate 1% of our annual sales to support local research and nature conservation activities. YOUR TRIP MAKES A DIFFERENCE!
Who are Thomas and Alice, from Ecosul Turismo?
Thomas and Alice are the founders of Ecosul Turismo. They are responsible for conducting and coordinating Ecosul Turismo's charters. Both work as biologist guides, with experience in ecotourism, whale and dolphin watching, environmental education, and scientific activities.
The presence of biologist guides ensures not only safe navigation but also educational content, environmental interpretation, and respect for Nature conservation regulation.

What types of boats are used in charter tours?
Ecosul Turismo's vessels are selected and adapted for ecotourism charters, prioritizing wildlife visibility, stability, and safety. All vessels are fully licensed, equipped with mandatory safety items or equipment beyond legal requirements, and operated by experienced professionals.
