The biodiversity of the atlantic rain forest comes to life in one of the most fascinating tours in Ilhéus. Ecosul Turismo invites you to experience its Bird watching Safari, a tour guided by biologists that combines ecotourism, local culture, and immersion in Nature — available all year round.

Departing at 7:30 a.m. directly from the Chocolate Caseiro Factory Store in Ilhéus, the tour welcomes small groups of up to 8 participants along a route rich in natural beauty. Navigating the Almada River and the Lagoa Encantada, participants observe aquatic birds, birds of prey and endemic species of the atlantic rain forest, with onboard binoculars and an illustrated identification guide.

The experience also includes a stop for swimming at waterfalls and free time for lunch (optional, not included) at a local lakeside restaurant. The tour lasts 8 hours in total, with 3 hours of birdwatching and 2 hours of relaxation in the middle of Nature.
